Live-in Carer (Learning Disabilities)

Pay: £850 per week + Food Allowance & Paid Breaks
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Carer to provide person-centered support to an individual with learning disabilities in the Peterborough area. This role focuses on fostering independence and providing high-quality daily support in a calm, welcoming home environment.
The Role
This position is ideal for a carer who enjoys community engagement and domestic support. Notably, there is no challenging behavior work required for this placement. Your primary focus will be on:
* Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, and daily hygiene.
* Nutrition: Planning, shopping for, and cooking healthy, home-cooked meals.
* Community Access: Supporting the client to get out and about, attend social clubs, and enjoy local amenities in Peterborough.
* Domestic Help: Managing laundry and general light housekeeping to keep the home running smoothly.
Requirements
* Experience: Previous experience specifically working with learning disabilities is essential.
* Driving: A valid driver’s license is highly preferred as you will be required to drive the client’s vehicle for outings and appointments.
* Qualities: You should be reliable, proactive, and a confident cook.
