Job Description

A busy and friendly family of three (two adults and one teenager) is looking for a reliable, proactive, and dog-loving Housekeeper/Cook to join their household. We are a hectic but warm home, looking for someone to replace our wonderful housekeeper of four years who is now retiring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping: Full cleaning, laundry, and ironing to keep the home running smoothly.

  • Cooking & Food Prep: Preparing simple breakfast (cereal/juice) for our teenager and assisting with dinner prep (e.g., preparing vegetables) roughly twice a week. No lunch service is required.

  • Pet Care: We have one very gentle, house-trained King Charles Cavalier. You will be responsible for one short walk around the block daily.

  • General Support: Anticipating the needs of a "busy and sometimes messy" household to keep things organized.

Hours & Flexibility

  • Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, generally 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

  • Breaks: Includes a dedicated lunch break and tea breaks.

  • Weekend Help: Very occasional weekend assistance (3–4 times per year) during our busiest periods.

  • Time Off: Time off in lieu will be provided for any weekend hours worked.

  • Reliable: Seeking a long-term placement similar to our previous housekeeper.
