Live-In Carer (Private Household) – Room & Board + £75 allowance

We are looking for a kind, reliable and experienced live-in carer to support an elderly gentleman in his own home. We are looking to hire 2 carers to work on a rota to cover 7 days per week.

About the role
You will live in the home and provide day-to-day support, helping him remain comfortable, safe and independent.

Duties include:
- Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating if needed
- Medication reminders
- Light household tasks (laundry, tidying, shopping)
- Companionship and emotional support
- Occasional assistance during the night if required

About him
- Lives at home 
- Requires assistance with personal care 
- Values routine, dignity and friendly conversation 

What we offer
- Private furnished bedroom 
- All bills included + food provided 
- £75 per dasy (paid weekly) 
- Regular daily breaks 
- 1–2 full days off per week (or rotation can be discussed) 
- Supportive family involvement 

What we’re looking for
- Experience in elderly care (live-in or similar)
- Kind, patient and dependable personality 
- Good spoken English 
- Right to work in the UK

-DBS must be provided by candidate
- References required 

Working pattern
- Live-in position with agreed daily rest breaks 
- Occasional night assistance (not constant waking)
